Sue is certified in South Carolina and North Carolina. She has worked in public accounting for the past 20 years with a Big Five firm, Price Waterhouse, and with two regional firms: Elliott Davis, LLP and Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP. She served on the Tax Committee of Elliott Davis and as Director of Tax for the Charlotte and Gastonia offices of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. Sue's expertise is in tax consulting services for small businesses, medical and dental groups, real estate ventures and individuals –– including personal financial planning and compliance. She has written articles for Woman Dentist Journal, Dental Entrepreneur, and a technical S corporation journal on taxes. Sue has been active in the Columbia community serving on various nonprofit boards. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
